Freight Broker

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business through shipper and carrier calls.

• Find suitable carriers for available shipments.

• Negotiate freight rates and close deals.

• Build and maintain strong carrier relationships.

• Coordinate with carriers from booking to delivery.

• Follow up on shipments, check-in times, and PODs.

• Handle rate confirmations and other brokerage documentation.

• Resolve delays, cancellations, and basic shipment issues.

Requirements

• 6 months–1 year of experience in US Freight Brokerage.

• Good knowledge of FTL/LTL, lanes, equipment, and US trucking.

• Strong communication, sales, negotiation, and follow-up skills.

• Experience with DAT/Truckstop preferred.

• Target-oriented with strong follow-up skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Salary

₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month
